I enjoyed this movie but felt so sad to see how our courage integrity morality have descend to the low we're at now. To see England turned onto what has is heartbreaking.
G-d I hate war! Heartbreaking and real movie of the times. They sacrificed so much for so many and we must preserve their legacy. Value and protect our hard won freedoms. Never give way to fascism and autocracy. We owe it to the world and to civilization.
What a wonderful family plenty of love and laughter. This is the type of family I would have loved. Martha the mother she’s a lovely . She’s the lady that keeps the home together. Perfect. Wonderful movie. Thank you.🇬🇧🙏
Thanks Churchill, for dragging everyone through such suffering and misery!! Hitler never wanted to have a war with Britain! Churchill was a drunk, with zero negotiating skills, who lost us an Empire!!!
My grandmother showed me this film recently. I often humour her when she shows me an old black and white movie. They can be a hit or a miss for me, but what a wholesome gem of a film this was. Easily one of my favourites. Lovely story ❤
Louis Wolheim enjoyed a prolific career on stage, and in film going back to 1914. This one, unfortunately was his last performance. Hugh Herbert did a fine job as First Mate. Mary Astor, of course 🥰, goes without saying. Good movie. Thanks for posting.
How heartbreaking to see a mother work so hard all her life for her family to get a kick in the teeth in the end by them all....except for one. Bravo James Dunn!
Why did that dance bring me to tears?
Such a heart warming story. Modern medicine has made so many advances and much to be thankful for. Until God makes all things new. Revelation 21: 3, 4
What a good movie. Thank you.
Pura Enegía! Qué juegazo! Saludos!
51:00 me thinkin she’s grabbing the Bible. Can’t imagine going through this and all you can do is play cards. 🥹
Socialism parading as good will.
Brilliant!! ❤
Just love old films. They have a good storyline, brilliant actors and guaranteed no sex, or violence. Thank you
Ah…a drive in an open machine in the English countryside….or a drive down 7 mile in the bloods territory in Detroit east side🙀
This is a o Henry type suboptimal trash story😺
I think Glynis Johns blossomed into one of the most beautiful women.
WOW
Wonderful insight into British life at the time. Great movie.
Limey suboptimal trash
❤
Resilience is a great quality, especially with compassionate foresight. Enjoyed the film, thank you.

Love the movie thank you.
I was born in wrong era..
Wonderful film !
Lovely film.
It's fascinating to see a film where people's desires are so relatively humble.
Is it just me or does that guy lack tact, sophistication, and respect for others? Still, funny film. Thanks
Virtua cop 2. EARRAPE GROUNDS
😃Thank you 👍Good movie 🥰
That fast-talking woman was ridiculous & nauseating + ruined the movie, for me anyway.
Thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Very nice movie! Loved it!🤔🤔🤔
Today is 5th May, Ursula Jeans birthday. She was born on this day in 1906
A very fine actress. Loved her in ' Northwest Frontier ', opposite Kenneth Moore and Lauren Bacall.
Gosh this film is a sea of famous faces, too numerous to mention.
I loved this movie!
Phenomenal sets and costumery; another 'they don't make 'em like that anymore', for certain....
Those kids sure had a weak father. Of the 3 sons and the daughter’s husband, only Johnny was a real man.
This one made my day....
